This March Holme Valley Climate Action are teaming up with partners at The Kirkwood Shop
and Forget me Not Children’s Hospice, Holmfirth to bring you a range of high quality affordable pre-loved clothing suitable for special occasions.

Over 1.9 million tonnes of textile waste is produced each year (www.earth.org). With much of this heading to incineration or landfill, we urgently need to rethink our approach to clothing and reduce-reuse-recycle more textile products. For those special events in life, the right outfit generally isn’t an everyday wear item. This is an ideal opportunity to think about pre-loved quality clothes that can be enjoyed and then passed along.

Call in to Honley Village Community Hall, Roundway, Honley, HD9 6DE on Saturday 8th March from 2pm – 4pm and pick up an amazing bargain.

There will be a range of dresses, suits, shoes and accessories to browse and buy with all proceeds from the event going to local charities.
